American Gods (by Claire Max)

This skirt is another piece I made myself. I embroidered a bird skull and feathers onto the ombre’ silk charmeuse. I also made a gown out of this same fabric…I love it so much. The shirt is a t-shirt from the Gathering of American Gods, a party held by Neil Gaiman at the House on the Rock on Halloween of 2010 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his book. It was one of the best weekends of my life. I altered the t-shirt with a bit of creative cutting to make it more interesting. =) Thanks to Tyler Seielstad for the photos!
